The Dunlop Scootsmart 2 120/70R16 57S is designed for urban scooters and light commuter machines where nimble handling and daily reliability are essential. It targets city and suburban use, offering quick manoeuvrability and confidence at modest speeds. The tyre delivers a balanced mix of durability and grip for everyday riding, making it suitable for riders who prioritise predictable behaviour in traffic. Rolling resistance is optimised to support sensible fuel use while preserving a comfortable ride. Driving comfort remains a focus through the tyre’s tuned carcass and tread profile.

The tread pattern promotes consistent contact patch and efficient water evacuation in wet conditions. Compound choice and tread geometry enhance wet grip and shorten braking distance without sacrificing longevity. Reinforced shoulder areas improve cornering stability, delivering reassuring feedback when leaning into turns. The construction also helps achieve even wear over the life of the tyre, supporting predictable mileage.

For riders this means confident start-stop commuting, steady steering response and reduced need for frequent replacements. The net benefit is a tyre that balances mileage with safety attributes important for daily urban use. Easy to fit and with dependable performance, it suits a wide range of modern scooters in UK traffic.
