The Avon STREETRUNNER AV83 R 130/70R17 62S is a motorcycle tyre intended for road-focused bikes where nimble handling and reliable wet performance are important. It is suitable for riders seeking predictable behaviour in town and on country roads throughout the riding season. The tread layout prioritises quick water evacuation and stable contact patch to support confidence in variable conditions.

The tyre's compound and groove pattern deliver consistent wet grip while promoting even wear over its service life. Shoulder blocks and central ribs are tuned to provide agile steering response and secure cornering stability at lean angles. The construction aims to balance mileage with responsive handling characteristics.

For the rider this tyre offers assured braking distance on damp surfaces and consistent feedback from the bike during direction changes. The overall package improves everyday riding comfort and reduces the need for frequent replacements thanks to its wear characteristics. Reliable wet braking and sharp handling response are notable benefits.
