The Avon STREETRUNNER AV83 F/R 2.5/0R17 43S is a motorcycle tyre aimed at lightweight roadsters and classic bikes used on urban and country roads. It belongs to a street-oriented segment where predictable grip and nimble handling matter most. The profile and compound are chosen to favour agile steering and consistent behaviour across a range of asphalt surfaces. Steering response is prioritised to help riders feel connected to the road while maintaining stable feedback at touring speeds.

Tread architecture combines longitudinal grooves with tailored siping to aid water evacuation and secure wet grip. The rubber compound supports even wear and extends mileage without compromising grip levels when cornering. Enhanced shoulder design increases the effective contact patch during lean, contributing to improved cornering stability. Braking distance has been refined to deliver confidence when slowing into traffic or tight bends. The tyre construction balances flexibility and rigidity for predictable handling.

For riders this tyre offers reassuring wet performance and a responsive front feel that eases manoeuvring in town. It suits those seeking a well-rounded tyre that performs reliably in everyday riding and occasional longer runs.
