The Avon SPIRIT ST R in size 190/50R17 73W is a sport-touring motorcycle tyre designed for spirited road use and everyday commuting. It suits riders who expect a blend of agile handling and long mileage across mixed British road conditions. The tyre's profile and compound are tuned to deliver predictable behaviour under load and to maintain a consistent contact patch through lean angles. Responsive steering response and reassuring cornering stability make it suitable for fast A-road stretches as well as urban traffic.

Construction incorporates a balanced carcass and carefully profiled tread blocks that promote even wear and steady feedback. The pattern encourages efficient water evacuation to preserve wet grip without compromising dry performance. Designers focused on rolling resistance to extend tyre life while retaining sporting feel and braking distance performance. Optimised tread geometry and durable belt architecture support controlled wear and stable handling over thousands of miles.

For the rider this means confident daily use, precise control in bends and extended service life that lowers operating cost. The tyre offers a good compromise between spirited dynamics and touring comfort for commuters and weekend riders. Expect consistent braking performance and predictable behaviour in changeable weather.
