This tyre is designed for sporty road and urban riding: Metzeler SPORTEC STREET 2 70/90R14 34S targets riders seeking agile handling and reliable everyday performance. It suits lightweight motorcycles and scooters used in mixed city and suburban conditions, offering predictable behaviour at moderate and spirited paces. The tyre’s profile optimises the contact patch for quick steering inputs and confident lane changes, which benefits urban commuters and weekend riders alike.

The tread pattern combines compact blocks and continuous ribs to ensure effective water evacuation and consistent wet grip across the life of the tyre. The compound and casing geometry promote even wear and stable cornering stability without compromising mileage. Enhanced construction refines steering response and keeps braking distance in check under varying surface conditions.

For the rider this means improved steering response and reassuring wet-weather performance from the first kilometre to the end of life. The balance between riding comfort and sportiness delivers a tyre that is easy to place in corners and reliable during daily use, while maintaining a good mileage profile.
