The Dunlop SPORTMAX ROADSMART IV 120/60R17 55W is a sport-touring motorcycle tyre developed for long-distance road riders who value grip and mileage. It is suitable for both spirited day rides and extended touring with luggage. The compound and tread architecture are designed to balance dry traction with consistent wet performance, offering a confident feel across varying temperatures. Improved wet grip and controlled steering response help maintain rider confidence when the surface changes.

Construction uses a multi-compound layout with a reinforced bead and carcass to stabilise the contact patch at lean and upright angles. Deep circumferential grooves support rapid water evacuation to reduce aquaplaning risk and to shorten braking distance on wet roads. The profile encourages even wear to extend service life and sustain predictable handling from new to worn stages. Cornering stability has been prioritised to provide a natural feedback through the chassis.

For the rider this tyre means extended mileage between replacements and consistent behaviour when pushing the limits or cruising long distances. It also delivers comfortable feedback that reduces fatigue on multi-day rides while retaining the agility expected from a sporty tourer.
