The Metzeler KAROO STREET R 180/55R17 73V is designed for road-biased adventure riders seeking grip on asphalt while retaining off-road capability. This tyre targets the dual-sport segment where confident wet grip and predictable handling matter on mixed surfaces. Built for mid-weight adventure bikes it balances street manners with the ability to handle light trails and gravel access roads without compromising everyday usability.

The tyre construction features a tread pattern optimised for water evacuation and a durable carcass that promotes even wear across the contact patch. A reinforced profile improves cornering stability and offers consistent steering response under varying loads. Compound technology has been tuned to manage rolling resistance while maintaining traction during braking and lean angles on imperfect surfaces.

For the rider this means assured braking distance in changeable weather and clear feedback when entering bends. The KAROO STREET R delivers reliable traction on wet and dry tarmac and stable behaviour under load, so touring, commuting and light off-road excursions feel composed and secure.
