Made for track-focused wet-weather use, Metzeler RACETEC SM RAIN 125/75R17 0 is a specialist racing tyre optimised for superb grip in the wet. It serves riders and teams seeking maximum water evacuation and consistent performance during rainy sessions. The tyre's profile and compound are tuned to provide repeatable lap times under slippery conditions.

An aggressive tread pattern with deep longitudinal grooves channels water away from the contact patch to preserve adhesion. The compound is formulated for rapid warm-up and sustained wet grip while the carcass supports precise feedback for quick directional changes. This yields excellent cornering stability and reliable braking distance on damp surfaces.

For competitive riders this tyre offers immediate confidence when conditions deteriorate. You will notice improved steering response and predictable behaviour at lean, which helps maintain pace in the wet. The RACETEC SM RAIN supplies exceptional water evacuation and consistent traction in rain that race crews demand.
