The Continental CITY RF 80/70R16 40E is a motorcycle tyre designed for urban and short-distance touring, delivering reliable grip and manoeuvrability for commuter bikes. It suits riders who need stable day-to-day performance and assurance in mixed city surfaces. The tyre’s profile promotes a predictable contact patch during frequent lean changes and slower-speed manoeuvres. Confident wet grip and nimble steering response make it ideal for busy urban roads.

The compound and siping pattern are optimised to maintain traction in wet conditions while offering manageable wear for regular commuting. The carcass construction balances flexibility and support to preserve driving comfort and traction during acceleration and braking. Effective water evacuation across the tread reduces aquaplaning tendency and sustains braking distance in the rain.

For everyday riders this tyre means a composed ride, consistent mileage and reassuring braking performance when traffic conditions change quickly. Easy handling and reliable cornering stability help reduce rider fatigue on repeated short trips. It is a practical choice for city-focused motorcyclists seeking dependable performance.
